Divock Origi Included in Liverpool Squad for Europa League Final
The Mirror reports
that Divock Origi joined his Liverpool teammates on the flight to Basel
on Monday, ahead of their Europa League Final match against Sevilla.
It is understood that the Belgian striker has completed two full-on training sessions without any concern over the ankle ligament injury he sustained in the Merseyside derby on April 20. As such, it is likely that Origi, who has played a vital role in Liverpool's Europa League campaign this season, will be named in the 18-man match-day squad that will set out to upset the Sevilla hat-trick of Europa League trophies.

When
Origi sustained the injury after a crunching tackle from Everton's
Ramiro Funes Mori, medics were doubtful that he'd make it to the final.
But he's clearly nursed the injury well and looks to feature on the
bench, alongside fellow recovering teammate Jordan Henderson, who also
flew out.
Jurgen
Klopp will more than likely field the same team that beat Villarreal in
the Semi-Final, with James Milner captaining a side spearheaded by
Daniel Sturridge. But Origi's inclusion will give Liverpool supporters a
sigh of relief, as he's made six appearances so far in the Europa
League, with involvement in three goals.
Origi
has had his critics this season, but is slowly proving that he can be a
threat and the sort of exciting player that Liverpool needs. A cameo
appearance in the Europa League final and a goal would surely go a long
way with the Liverpool faithful.
